Empower Hour
Empower Hour is play-based therapy groups for children ages 3-12
Empower Hour explores your child’s social-emotional world and brings out their innate potential so they feel connected, confident, accepted and understood.
This play therapy-based group is facilitated by Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, Haley Garth, MEd, LPC, RPT, NCC. In Empower Hour, your child will experience an accepting and nurturing social environment while receiving concrete emotional and social intervention.
Group therapy is a powerful modality in helping children develop the connection, courage and confidence they need to feel masterful in interpersonal situations. Counselors help the children in group to recognize, understand and respect the thoughts and feelings of others. In doing so, children move toward a greater level of connection and acceptance of self, peers and family members.
The Carruth Center is currently offering this play therapy based group for children ages 3-12. Children are grouped by age, development and social-emotional needs.
Class Availability and Enrollment
In order to participate in Empower Hour and in order for our Play Therapist to best know the needs of your child, an initial intake appointment will occur. During this appointment your concerns will be discussed and a plan for further exploring your child’s needs are developed.
Class scheduling occurs based on current participant’s schedules.
