Another school year is wrapping up and The Carruth Center therapists are busy setting our summer schedules for individual therapies and planning for our summer camps and groups! Please know we try our best to accommodate all requests, but coordination can be challenging. Communications about your child’s summer schedule will be coming to you shortly. Summer schedules will begin the week of June 6th. Please note, The Carruth Center is closed from Friday, May 23 – May 26th.
Earlier this year, our medical records system changed who they will support as a credit card processing company. Beginning with payment processing in June, the credit card receipt you receive may look different as a result of this. We are in the process of setting up everyone’s payment information into the new secure system. If you have received an email from me asking you to complete a Payment Update form, this is not spam or a scam! This is so we have your payment information in an encrypted form for entry into this new system. If you are more comfortable calling us with your information, please reach out to me or Virginia Dietz.
Every year, The Carruth Center and The Parish School staff choose a teacher, paraeducator, admin and Carruth staff member of the year. This year’s Clinician of the Year is Haley Garth! Haley is a Play Therapist, and she was instrumental in bringing Play Therapy to The Carruth Center. Her dedication to lifelong learning, collaboration and ethical practice has benefited numerous clients and families as well as Carruth and Parish staff. Haley is a natural helper and an incredibly empathetic and understanding therapist. Congratulations to Haley on this well-deserved honor!
